WindowMaker and centering backgrounds

Followed advice previously given (wmsetbg -e /path/to/image.jpg) and this part works fine - but when I also include "-u" to cause it to become permanent it doesn't seem to work. Checked the help file to make sure I was doing it correctly and it seems as if I am. No error message comes up - it does center the picture but whenever I change to another picture it is back to typing the same command all over again. Am I missing something obvious? Thanks in advance!

???

So you are setting the BG manually... and everytime you switch it ends up not being centered? Is the BG part of a WM theme or are you just setting it by itself?
