resolved.....watching tv on web browser at (new link found)

resolved see last message

Hi

I am on a sidux kde full 2008-02 distro.

http://oftheworld.tv/

says it only supports some windows or mac browsers.

I have attempted to run ms version of firefox 3.0.1 thru WINE but altho I can get the plugin to install ....on restart, the browser immediately crashes. (You need to restart to get the plugin active)

On start new session and then navigate to web site ...it crashes immediately.

2) I am loathe to attempt an IE7 thru WINE because I am not fond of that browser.

Questions

Has anyone has success with the CoolIris plugin?

If so, how did you do it please?

3) I have a legal copy of w98se but have discarded any idea of running a web browser thru a host network virtualbox.

sweet mods

feel free to move to another forum if I have gone to wrong one thanks.

cheerio

EDIT

I have a kind of reply at another site. it has a link to

http://oftheworld.tv/home.html

and this works for me in linux but the main site gives the impression of lots of channels/movies.

so my original question remains.
