i had just recieved an email regarding the new virus nowadays the 'doom worm thing'

some says that i am infected, but im using fedora linux... is there a virus scananer for that?

what do i have to do?

Ignore it as it cannot affect Linux based systems as it designed to alter system registry which you don't have.

MyDoom doesn't work on Linux. I think someone with your E-Mail addres got infected, and the virus decied to pretend to set the send-from addres to yours. This is often done by viruses, as it makes it harder to figure out, ho is infected.
