Talking Using nemo to seach by file extension and saving results

Hello Linux fans.

I kind of like the result been showed in Nemo file manager after a search by file extension. I am sure that there is a way to do this in the terminal. Regardless I would like to save the result to a text file. I would like to have the result sorted alphabetically with and without the full directory path. Is there a GUI file manager that can do this or must I learn to do it via the terminal. Thanks

To save the results in a file you'll probably need to use a terminal command.
Take a look at man find as a starting place...or search the web for examples of find. find is very comprehensive, so there's a lot of information. Come back with any questions.

1. learn how to do it on the command line
2. wrap that in a script (optionally gui-fy it with yad or zenity) that can be
3. added to nemo as a right-click command plugin thingymajick (it's called "actions" apparently)

...or, search the web whether soembody already did all that.
