Ubuntu announced for smartphones

Hey!

So Canonical announced Ubuntu for smartphones.

Looks promising, definitely gonna try it, even though i'm not a fan of Ubuntu and the Unity desktop.
Will other distros hop on the bandwagon? I'd really like to use a fully-functional Debian system on my smartphone.
