when i scroll webpages or pdf files, the pitch of the sound changes..( whatever is being played with xmms ). whether its the mouse that i am using for scroll or the pg up or pg dn key, the same thing happens...but not always, but happens quite often to cause annoyance...
anyone's faced this problem before? what kind of an issue is this? to do with some irq or some problem with xmms..? could have tried some other mp3 player, but don't have anything handy right now...
there is no such problem when i use mplayer...so nothing to do with the interrupts..i think its an issue with xmms. i checked the keyboard bindings for xmms; nothing to do with page down or page up keys. any xmms gurus around?
i'm just offering up ideas, trying to narrow down the problem.
perhaps if you're using firefox with the foxytunes extension it may have the same effect, maybe
