RHL7.3 stops loading at "Bringing interface of eth0"

I installed RHL7.3 yesterday but the loading stops when it shows up "Bringing interface of eth0".
I have a Realtek Ethernet card and I guess it is not able to find its driver. Is this the problem or is it something else.
Please help.

I have a dual boot system with WinXP on the other end.

I believe that happens when it doesn't get any IP-adress from your DHCP-server. Will it print out "failed" if you wait for quite some time (less than 3 minutes)?

The drivers if your network card should probably be okay.
