Remote CVS Repository

Hi,
I'm trying to setup a remote cvs repository using xinetd and pserver. I can't seem to get it working and was wondering if anyone know what I should look for on my system to make sure that I have everything I need to do this.

I'm using RedHat 7.3.
Here's my cvspserver file in /etc/xinetd.d/

cvspserver
{
disable = no
socket_type = stream
protocol = tcp
wait = no
user = cvsroot
group = cvs
port = 2401
server = /usr/bin/cvs
env = '$HOME=/home/cvsroot'
server_args = -f --allow-root=/home/cvsroot/ pserver
}

And this is the error message I get:

# cvs -d server:cvsroot@server:/cvsroot login
Logging in to server:cvsroot@server:2401/cvsroot
CVS password:
cvs [login aborted]: connect to server(192.168.0.1):2401 failed: Connection refused

I ran netstat -a and there's no sign of anything running on port 2401.

Thanks,
Scott

Try to restart xinetd. Does it help?
