ran fsck -ASV by accident! computer won't boot

::sigh:: Well I ran fsck -ASV by accident. Meant to run fsck -ACV. It said "syncing" and now the computer won't boot. Gets past the kernel loading, then can't find a suitable partition to boot off of. Duuuuuumb me. I can live without the data on the drive, although it would certainly save some time if I could get it back to normal without too much trouble.

ANy thoughts? If not, guess it would be a good time for me to learn Debian instead of the usual Redhat

did you create a rescue boot disk? that might help you get back into the system to check things out.

Yeah, didn't help any. I couldn't find an answer so I just put Debian on there. Gotta learn somethin other than redhat anyways.
