wget -m -np -k http://www.xs4all.nl/~dassel

will get you a nice load of Star Trek wallpapers. I used feh to flick through them last night and that was the first one I came to that I thought would look good on the desktop. No doubt I'll go back and change at some stage. Take a look at the other screenshots though, I archive all the old ones automatically. http://david.us-lot.org/linux-screen.php - although the server is down at the moment, we think the hard disk died - should be up and running within a couple of days though.

Hopefuly my site should be up again tomorrow. I've been using Window Maker lately, but the older screen shots include quite a lot of blackbox and aewm shots.

Citizen, that is one huge XMMS you've got on there!

I'll post some screenshots of mine as soon as I can figure out how to upload stuff to my site without having to dial in to my ISP.

My site, by the way, is completely pointless as I actually haven't done anything to it yet.

OK, for the people who were asking, my background image comes from one of the best 3d renderer/compositors around.

deaddreamer

Both the XMMS/winamp skin (they are completely compatible) and the background come from his site. and there are some incredible gfx there. enjoy!

And keep the screenshots coming!

This screenshot is off of my second pc, in which I am still piecing together LFS on it as well. But its running Slackware 7.1 with XFce as the desktop. Nothing big as I don't use X right now too often on it.. Oh and the small Terminal window that is open is running LMME, a msn messenger engine, cause my friends just love using MSN over others, so I picked it cause I can chat from command line.

sickboy, noticed you were listening to massive attack in one of your screenshots.. good music taste there.
at least we agree with music taste besides bickering over redhat or suse...
HAHAAH..yea i guess so. hey if you like that whole bristol thing (i think they are from there) and like drum n bass or jungle, check out the soundtrack from the movie Pi. it really rocks. also the jungle dj aphrodite rocks my world!

Also i couldnt help bu notice how most of you surf the web at obscene hours of the early morning!

Hey, Ratface, where'd you get the ROM image to get Basilisk working?

Oh, and nice background. I was going to ask where you got it from, but since you posted a link directly to the image itself, I just copied it. Thanks.

Sickboy - what is the whole Bristol thing these days? I live near to the place (well, Plymouth) and I don't really hear of much coming from there anymore.
