OpenGL is extremely slow

Hi, I'm running Mandrake 10.1 Official. I downloaded and installed the nVidia display driver a few weeks ago and everything was fine. However, now for some reason all of my OpenGL apps run very slow (~2 FPS). I suspected something with direct rendering, so I ran glxinfo and this was the output:

Quote:
[mike@genesisx mike]$ glxinfo | grep direct
Loading required GL library /usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.so.1.4.502
direct rendering: No
Apparently direct rendering isn't enabled. I know for a fact that my video card's chipset is supported since previously OpenGL ran at a good speeds, and I've modified my xorg.conf to load "glx" and "dri." Nothing worked, however, and I'm now stuck with slow GL apps.

Any ideas on how to fix this problem? Thanks!

Yup, that should fix it. If not, you'll need to su and head over to /usr/lib and change all the libGL.* symlinks to point to the nvidia drivers as currently they're pointing to the Mesa GL libs.
