Need help with best configuration for SAN multipath

Hello all,

First of let me say I was not sure if this was supposed to be hardware or network so I am posting it here in general. If it needs moved, mods please feel free to move it.

I am setting up our Dell MD3200i iSCSI SAN. I have never done this before so I am relying heavily on the Dell docs. With that I had set up the 4 ports on each of the dual controllers on a seperate class C network like so:

Code:
Controller 1:
Port 1: 192.168.130.101
Port 2: 192.168.131.101
Port 3: 192.168.132.101
Port 4: 192.168.133.101

Controller 2:
Port 1: 192.168.130.102
Port 2: 192.168.131.102
Port 3: 192.168.132.102
Port 4: 192.168.133.102
It works this way. However I am looking to simplify this if possible. Would there be any negative side effects to changing the setup to be like this instead:

Code:
Controller 1:
Port 1: 192.168.130.1
Port 2: 192.168.130.2
Port 3: 192.168.130.3
Port 4: 192.168.130.4

Controller 2:
Port 1: 192.168.130.5
Port 2: 192.168.130.6
Port 3: 192.168.130.7
Port 4: 192.168.130.8
Basically moving everything to one single class C network? All of our other "normal" network traffic is on a 10.X.X.X network. Thanks in advance for any input on this.

i don't think so but just if iscsi san and client systems are in same network means only those client are in same subnet can access if you change it everyone whose in 130* network access any ports.

so overall depends on your need.
