mplayer fetch subtitles option: --fetch-subs

This option has been kind of made for windows, with special programs for sub retrieving. it exists for windows, google.

How could it be possible to achieve this similar, for command line?
Code:
mplayer video.avi --fetch-subs
the configuration, such as language, could be into .mplayerrc

If possible could sbdy write a patch?

I suppose you could write a wrapper script for mplayer that searches for you. If the input video is of a subtitle-supporting filetype, then check the pwd for subtitle files of the same name, and load them if found.
