Mounts are Read-Only After Ubuntu 9.10

So I have a script that mounts a bunch of samba shares. After upgrading to 9.10 everything is read only.

If I chown on the folders while they are unmounted, they get reset when I run the sudo mount command. But as soon as I unmount them again, the ownership reverts to my account.

Nothing I seem to do lets my user account write to mounted shares.

My mount commands:
Code:
sudo mount -t cifs -o rw,username=username,password=password //Server/Share$ /mnt/NAS/Media/
Ideas? Am I missing something simple here?
