Mint 'Gloria', No sound in flash for Opera/Firefox
I'm using Mint 'Gloria', with the Opera browser and Firefox side-installed, and I can't get Opera or Firefox to output any sound from flash videos like Youtube. I tried with the standard .so, and then the alternative plug in for the .swf extension in Opera, but it doesn't work, and Firefox doesn't work, but I do have video.
I don't know if it would help, but 'uname -r' returns:
2.6.28-11-generic
This is the last step I need to take before I can actually use Linux daily.
I have sound in Rhythmbox music player.
I use USB headphones for my sound, but I've configured them to work. Could someone help me? I'm not very experienced with linux, but I understand a large amount of how computers work, I'm just not too savvy with linux yet.
