Messaging Vista using smbclient

Hello all!

I was wondering if anyone has stumbled onto how to message Vista using smbclient.

I can message XP clients using my Samba installation with the command:

echo "My Message" | smbclient -M <machine name> -I <machine IP address>

I know Vista no longer has the Messenger Service 2000/XP has nor does it have the old "net send" command either. Instead Vista Business and up has the command "msg".

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else knew of a way to send messages from Linux/Samba to Vista in a similar fashion to Linux/Samba to XP?

Thanks in advance
