loading slax in iso format


Hi all
I have a slax CD, really I have the iso format of slax CD, I want to load this iso from suse9.2. Haw can I do that?
thx in advance.

Are you wanting to install Slack? Put the CD in the drive and turn the machine on. Have the BIOS set to boot from CD.

Or are you wanting to view the Slack .iso in Suse then mount the .iso with the -o loop option.

If you have a Slack .iso then you need to burn it to CD to make it usable.

Or are you wanting to launch the Slack install with the .iso from within Suse?

No, I know how can I mount the CD. but this is a bootable CD, is it necessary to burn it to a CD ?
I want to launch the slax in .iso form from within Suse.

If you have a live Slackware CD .iso then you will need to burn it to a CD. Not copy it to CD but burn the image to CD. Put the CD in the drive with booting from CD enabled in the BIOS. Follow the instructs. I'm not aware of a way to boot a live CD from the hard drive while you already have an OS loaded. Might be possible, I don't know.
