linux mint web page functions buttons slowly stop working

hard one to explain, but on certain webpages that were fine the other day some of the buttons stop working. example hibid.com the login button does nothing, but most of the others are funtional. there about 5 pages i visit everyday, and over the last 3 months some of the buttons do not work but other parts of the page do.

have tried different browsers, cleared everything I can. Gotten to the point where i guess i have to reload. but if there is a way to fix without doing that i would like to know.

I am runing an old version of mint, building a new computer and was going to load the newest version on that Ideas? oh ya on the other computer the webpages work fine.

If the pages work fine on other machines, then the problem is in that machine. Also, I just visited the Mint website, and it seemed to be working okay.

Try starting the browser(s) from the command line, then clicking on the dysfunctional functions. It's long shot, perhaps some useful error messages will be thrown to the terminal.

You might also use journalctl check the logs for the most recent entries after doing the testing.

Just out of curiosity, have you tried a CLI browser, such as lynx, links, or w3m?
