Linux Mint 21.2 no drap and drop, no autfill


was running mint 19.3, upgraded to 21.2. I could drag and drop in 19 but cannot in 21. also I cannot get auto fill to work.

any Ideas how to fix.

These are commonly functions of the desktop environment. Which one are you using?

It's a long shot, but you could try using journalctl to view the log files. Try doing those things, then checking for the most recent entries to see if any errors were logged. See the section in this link entitled "Follow or Tail."
