Lilo graphical menu

In Mandrake 8.1, I have the option to use a full screen graphical menu for my lilo boot.

I want to customize the graphic used for the menu ...

Wherre can I find the information on how to go about doing it?

I have looked in the How-to's, and the documentation, but I am either a dumb-dumb, or what I'm looking for is not there ...

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

i don't knopw how to actaully do it, but i'll bet it involves the script /usr/share/doc/lilo-0.21.7/bmp2mdk
i guess this will convert a bmp to a boot menu file.

Try reading this http://hints.linuxfromscratch.org/hints/bootlogo.txt

You probably won't have to patch it and build it since you already got a version that supports graphics. But you should use the mklilomsg command to create the graphic file. And add the stuff to lilo.conf.
