libexpat.so.1

Hello ppl
I have an AMD based computer with Raedon 200 integrated graphics. I downloaded the drivers but dependency check requires "libexpat.so.1" package...
Im not able to find this, on rpmfind.net I ended up finding freevo_runtime-3-3.i386.rpm
Could ne one help me with this pls

You didn't mention which distribution you were using; on rpm.pbone.net I found something like 'expat-libs' and 'expat2-libs' and so on, that supposedly have that file, but mainly for SuSE only.

Have you checked if you have that file, so that it isn't just "found"?

And you could also try rebuilding your rpm database, along with running ldconfig:

rpm --rebuilddb
ldconfig

and re-trying. Odd if the driver installer is asking for that file but doesn't mention where to get it from.

I found the foll. :

-rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 115216 Sep 28 01:00 libext2fs.so.2.4

I also did rebuild rom db and ldconfig, no luck yet...

So still stuck...
