Kernel bug message at shutdown and in syslog?

I shutdown my system one day and got a long list of stuff Ive never seen before so I checked the syslog file and It says something about kernel bug at two different places. I would like to post it but it has stuff about the bios and ip addresses and other stuff. Could I post it and have a mod edit the stuff out that might be a security risk? What should I do, if anything? I am using 2.6.10 kernel on slack 10. Heres part of it. Thanks.

you don't say what version of the kernel but this i think is a known bug and
Hugh Dickins was trying to fix it
perhaps try the -mm branch of the kernel
http://kernel.org/patchtypes/mm.html
or if you are using that one try the main branch
or just upgrade is all i can think of

Yes, I wrote it is the 2.6.10 kernel. I dont receive it all the time, I have only seen it a few times. Thanks for the link but all those patches have dates that are much earlier than the date I updated my kernel. Wouldnt my kernel already have those updates?
