Isohybrid questions?

I tried out isohybrid on a iso I made today and when running the command I get this

Code:
bash-4.3# isohybrid SlackerR-051219-x86_64.iso
isohybrid: Warning: more than 1024 cylinders: 1464
isohybrid: Not all BIOSes will be able to boot this device
The DVD is 1,464 mb so can you not make a isohybrid with anything over 1024mb or is there a workaround or option I'm not using?
Thanks

That's only a warning. Worth trying it anyway.

Yes it worked but I did

Code:
dd if=SlackerR-051219-x86_64.iso bs=2048 of=/dev/sdc
And it boots faster than a system off hdd or usb/dvd damn
Cant use persistence with it but oh well, it can still be installed to usb without dd'ing it
Just want to see if it worked!

Indeed worth trying. That is how most of us learn.

Yes it works, quite well, very fast booting, no persistence but thats ok for a rescue usb anyway...I can figure out external persistence using another usb or hdd.

It worked whether using bs=1024 or bs=2048 IDK?

I made all the iso's now at my slacker-live sourceforge site as isohybrid
