Installing a second HD: How do I increase the size of a Linux partition?
I picked up a second HD that I intend to install as a slave to my current one. My current HD is 20GB and the new one is 40GB.
Is there any reason to not install the 40GB as the slave?
I have Linux and Win98SE installed on my current drive, but Windows has reached the point where it is slow, enemic, and painful to use. It serves me right for upgrading to IE6...I was fine before I did that.
I want to install Windows on the new drive and allow Linux to use all the space on my old one.
Should I reformat the old Win partition and just have Linux format it as ext3?
Is there a way I can add the freed up space to the existing Linux partitions?
Thanks.
