input signal out of range


the video display on my LCD monitor is not fully covering the panel with a message showing "input signal out of range".

i checked the monitor vertical and horizontal frequencies, they r all fine. my LCD is hp pavilion f1523
RH 9 kernal 2.4.22-18
anyone knows what went wrong?

i even encounter the same problem,as if your resolution is more large than standard vga.Maybe you can modify /etc/X11/XF86config file so it would be suit for need.
