Hi I am doing an MSc in Information Systems and for my dissertation I would like to compare two companies. One running Linux and the other Windows. Please can anyone suggest a company running Linux in the UK that would not mind me contacting them and allowed me to analyse their system etc. I appreciate any and all replies. Many Thanx Premmons!
You could try asking on the Linux Format site, I know that in a past issue they ran an article on a company that was crossing over to Linux... perhaps they would have some suggestions of companies willing to participate in your Masters.
My company has moved from windows to linux this year. what kind of questions do you have in mind? I don't think you'll be allowed any access to the systems though.
We are dual running Linux and Windows on our sites at the moment. I wouldn't mind putting questions to the relevant people but you wouldn't be allowed access to our systems.
