How to slove these questions

How to slove these questions
----------------------------

1.create a ssh such that user john should have remote access to ur system within example.com .and also cracker.org domain will be restricted.

what i did:
------------
to deny the ssh service from cracker i used the /etc/hosts.deny as follows:
sshd:ALL EXCEPT .example.com

but how we give a particular user access (in this case john) to ssh?

2.create the pop3 server and eric having non-interactive shell should have recieve mails from outside.

What i did:
------------
I appended the following in /etc/dovecot.conf and restarted the dovecot service.
protocols=pop3 pop3s imap imaps

is it correct? sufficient?

3.configure a IMAPS with ssl support and also it should be accessible only from example.com.

no idea how to do this.

4.create a name based virtual hosting having server name as wwwX.exmaple.com and the default page

is available from ftp server.and the document root path is /var/www/virtual and also john should have write access on it.

What i did:
------------
to solve this question I mounted the /var partition with acl option and used the setfacl command to give rwx permission to user john.

Is this the correct approach to solve this or there is another better way to do this?

As far as restricting the ssh access...

I would do that in the /etc/ssh/ssh_config file

It's been a while since I've messed with it, but you should be able to do so with the lines:

PermitRootLogin no
AllowUsers username1 username2 etc
