how to clone a Red Hat 9 system (870 MB) with all the partitions (/ and swap)

Hi all,

How does one go about cloning Red Hat 9 to another system. I want to be able to clone all the partitions on the new hard drive. The new system (1 GB flash memory) has no operating system on it. What are the recommended media? Is is possible to put the image (once i get it) on more than one CD? My total Red Hat 9 installation size is around 870 MB and a CD can take only 700MB.

Any comments are appreciated

yeah u could use partimage as it will make an image file of ur system and u could tell it what the size of each file so that u could put it on two or more cds
i havent tried it yet but check it out at :
