how: font changin in galeon and evolution?

using RH8.0 and KDE

I recently added many windows font to linux. Now a lot of the fonts looks nice and I especially like the verdana.

However, certain apps like Galeon and Ximiam Evolution would not allow me to choose the new fonts, like verdana for its looks, or for emailing.

Galeon still show fuzzy text (both web sites and the menus like File, Edit), i tried going to rendering fonts, i don't see the new fonts.

Evolution's default text is also fuzzy, not antialiased. I found no way to change the fonts.

Konqueror, desktop, OpenOffice all displays nice and smooth fonts. I saw someone's shot of Mozilla in RH8.0 using default Nimbus fonts without any configuring, it looked so nice.

My mozilla never looked that good.

Any help?

Thanks.

Fonts are the weakest part of Linux.
If you run gnome applications under KDE this applications don't use your preferred fonts, but default fonts (I believe Nimbus sans L, which are ugly). To make gnome applications use your chosen fonts in KDE too, do this:
Run /usr/bin/gnome-font-properties and choose the fonts you like. If you want that it remains this way, make a link to /usr/bin/gnome-font-properties in /home/~/.kde/Autostart.
Every time you login to KDE the chosen fonts wil be set and ximian, galeon and all other gnome programs will look just the way you want it to.
