gnome mounting usb devices as root

Hi
I was wondering if there's a way to force gnome to mount usb devices as nosuid. It's extremely annoying I can't even write to my drive because of this permission problem. I say gnome because I usually double click on the drive in file browser (nautilus) to mount it.

Hmm, I would suggest looking at your /etc/fstab file to see if there is an entry for your usb device.
