First time loading red hat 9 it asks for user name and pw


I just installed redhat 9 and it asks for a user name and pw....But never in the instalation did it ask me to make one..What do I do?

During installation you are asked about the root account password. You would be knowing the root password. So you log on as root i.e username: root and password: <whatever you have given during installation> and press Enter. Now you are logged in as root. Here add a user account and start using that account. Please remember that root account is a super user account and you may potentially damage your system without proper knowledge. Hence be careful what you do.
