(Dual boot) Cannot boot into Manjaro anymore

Hey,

After cleaning my PC my motherboard didn’t find any device to boot anymore (it displayed the efi shell). I accordingly reset the bios settings and should have never done that because since that my bios doesn’t detect refind anymore. (I’ve fixed the issue by swapping every sata device on the MB which is something I’ve already done to fix this issue).

Only W10 is detected by the bios.
The thing is it already happened to me (the bios couldn’t detect grub after I reset the bios, ) and I remember trying a lot of things in order to fix that but none of it worked and I eventually just gave up and reinstalled Manjaro. (I remember using efibootmgr without any success)

I would like, this time, to avoid reinstalling everything.
If someone has any idea that would be great.

Thanks !

(My MB is a MSI Z97 Guard Pro and both OS are on the same SSD
I use both refind and grub to boot either Manjaro and W10 (I mean refind -> grub > OS)
(May sounds weird but I remember having an issue to boot and adding refind was an easy way to fix it).

Reinstall grub from a live usb/cd:
mount your manjaro partition
mount --bind /dev,/proc,/sys to /<manjaro mnt point>/(dev, proc, sys)
chroot into manjaro
mount efi partition to /boot/efi
grub-install
exit
reboot

This isn't a detailed howto, just a general idea of how to do it.

When trying to install grub on the drive, I always have the message «*EFI Variables are not supported on this system*»
I don’t understand it, the live USB is booted in EFI mode and the efi partition is mounted to /boot/efi in the chroot environment.

Edit : Solved it and was able to reintall grub

Thanks for helping !
