Distro reccomendation for Quad 166
I recently accquired for next to nothing, a somewhat rare, and reasonably useless Quad 166 server. I couldn't tell you the exact specs, but here's what I know:
-Four matched Intel Pentium 166 processors
-Two 68 pin SCSI channels hooked up to a 12 drive hot swap array
-128mb of ram total, through god knows how many laughably small SIMMS
-3x 9.1gb SCSI Drives
-Ultra 66 IDE Controller(crappy generic 32 bit PCI)
-Crappy old Floppy and CD
-A damn cool little glowing green LCD that displays "4 Pentium(R) 166 System Ready"
-Uber Awesome 256k onboard video
-And a massive case that almost won over my fragfile geek muscles.
It has RH 7.3 set up now, but I wanna know what other options I have. A distro with a precompiled SMP kernel is a plus, I'm not a complete linux noob but compiling the kernel still kicks my ass. No X whatsoever(256k onboard video w00t w00t), it will run like death and there's no point. All I plan on doing with it is setting up some shell accounts for myself and a few of my buddies.
