direct rendering

hey i have ubuntu dapper drake and i installed the appropriate driver (or at least i am pretty sure i have) for my graphics card an nvida GeForce FX 5200.

in cedega tests i am recieving a fail on the opengl direct rendering test.

i then tried the command
glxinfo | grep "direct rendering"

which shows if direct rendering is allowed but i recieved a "no".

anyone know how to fix this error?

You should check the driver installation. If there is no direct rendering (ie hardware rendering).
You may also want to check (ie lsmod) to see if the driver module is loaded properly.
