Defragmentation of File System

How can I do the defragmentation of file system in Red Hat 7.1? I don’t know if defragmentation is necessary like it is in Windows.

Thanks in advance

Yes like Mik said, this question is asked all the time. There are many great discussions on the boards why you don't need to defrag a file system in Linux. Closing thread cause we don't need a ton of responses telling you no, you don't need to defrag.
