I've installed RH9 on my notebook and it works somehow but I still have a couple of problems.
One of them is:

I have a FAT32 partition mounted in RedHat (fstab options auto,umask=000) so that I can share the data between WinXP Pro and RH. I can see the partition, read the data there and write files/folders there as well but as soon as I reboot the machine and start XP I don't see the files/folders created using RH. chckdsk from XP doesn't find anything wrong on the partition. When I boot the RH again files/folders are there.

I found a solution for most of my RH (newbie) problems but I haven't seen any case simmilar to this. :-(

Any ideas?

Strange indeed. Of course, I have found that Windows is strange.

I have no ideas at all.

Note to self: avoid Windows XP Pro as well as Windows 98 and Windows 2000 pro.
