Blank Desktop No icons no taskbar GNome

I am using fedora 7(Gnome environment). yesterday i have shutdown my computer. but today morning when i started my computer and login the system i got blank screen after entering password only wallper is shwon i have tried to reinstall gnome in kde it intalls successfully but when i restarted the problem is still threre. yesterday i have installed gstreamer plugin

I have not seen this... but perhaps remove gstreamer

apt-get remove gstreamer

I'm not familiar with fedora.
