I managed to install SAMBA, create a share on Linux (guest login) and access the share from any windows machine. I also managed to play around with username and passwors and also accepting only particular hosts who can connect to the share.
However now I want something more complex and which I believe I'd need your help to do it
Basically in our department, each person has his own account which is being authenticated by windows active directory. Can I make the SAMBA share on the linux box use this windows account as a means of authentication. I don't want to introduce new account on the windows computers to access the share, while on the other hand, I want to have some form of user authentication.
