Question About cgi , pl. in apache....

I got serveral source codes of cgi and pl. and tried to run them on my web
server (apache in RH8.0). I have the source codes placed in the
/home/web/cgi-bin and all the to-be-run source codes were "chmoded" 755. I
also config. the httpd.conf as "Alias /cgi-bin "/home/web/cgi-bin" in order
to run the cgi properly.
However, it did not work at all! I prompted me with the following:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable
to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, root@localhost and inform them of
the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have
caused the error.
ore information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Can anyone please advise me on that?
Cheers.

Take a look at your domain's configured error file (usually something like /var/log/apache/domain-error.log -- it will tel you exactly what's going on.
