First one being aRtsd being laggy. Apps that use aRts always make sounds about half a second after they should
you may try putting those lines
Code:
SDL_AUDIODRIVER=alsa
export SDL_AUDIODRIVER
in your .bash_profile.
logout, login again, open a terminal and type
Code:
[skalkoto@localhost skalkoto]$ set

Next is that when I mount a CD, often I can't unmount it. Plus, when I used Mandrake, when I entered a CD, it automounted..here I gotta do it manually. I want it to automount, and automatically eject when I press the eject button on the DVD drive.
try using gnome. it has a computer icon, (at least fc2 has) on desktop listing all cdroms/floppys. it also has a configuration tool in the menu for automounting, autoplaying etc. KDE sucks on redhat/fedora.

Next, after having problems installing nVIDIA's drivers, I can't get ANY screensavers to work. I mean, I can play GTA Vice City under CVSCedega, but I can't se ANY screensaver. OpenGL or not. When I preview them, I can see them...yet when they're supposed to load, all I see is a blank black screen.
Thanks a lot, the sound works great No lag, and perfect quality
And yes, I did that stuff..someone gave me a few commands for it on IRC, and my 3D graphics are working great (I know, cuz GLXgears, Neverball and some others work fine), but my screensavers don't work.
