[Compile kernel] How to compile/install the modules ?

Hello, I d like to have the ipw2100 modules
I did up to now:
Code:
bla bla ... with $kernelversionnumber

apt-get install -y -f ipw2100-source
cd /usr/src
make menuconfig
# ipw2100-modules-2.6-686 is in /usr/src
for each in $(ls ipw*.bz2) ; do tar -x -j -f $each ; done ; cp -a modules "/usr/src/linux-$kernelversionnumber"
make dep
make clean
make-kpkg --rootcmd=fakeroot --initrd --append-to-version=-$kernelversionn --revision=1.00 kernel_image kernel_headers
then I dpkg -i the created *.debs

I'd like to have the modules in my kernel of ipw2100 (with fake-root).
make modules ??
make modules_install ??

If I do:
Quote:
make-kpkg --rootcmd=fakeroot --initrd --append-to-version=-$kernelversionn --revision=1.00 modules_image
nothing appears in /usr/src to dpkg -i ..?? no module deb file ?
