what about a community game project?
i think a great way to make linux more popular, would be to make a game taht only ran on linux.
it would make people want to have linux to play it!
i know this would be a big, almost-impossible project, but im sure some of us are up to the task.
we would maybe ask for a small donation, to cover cost for programmers. i know no one would spend the time to make a great game, if they werent getting paid.
dont get me wrong, there are some good linux-native games oout there, made for free, by volunteers, but im saying like doom3, or unreal quality.
actually, i think a WWII based, (medal of honor-like) would be better.
well, i ust had to ask.
i needed to get that question off my chest.
