Ut2004 (retail) error.

OK, so i'm running kde and i just got UT2004, and i installed it and everything went peachy. Until i tried to run it. When i tried running it, the splash screen comes up....and then it goes away. And the nothing else happens. There are no errors, and linux thinks it's running it (though only using 5% of my pc, so obviously it's not). Um....i'm a complete n00b, so there is probably something obvious that i haven't tried....but can anyone think of anything? Thanks for your help!

I think so...of course, ATI isn't the best with linux drivers...if it weren't for them, i could have a full 64 bit system! Bah.
