UT sound problem


I installed UT on linux with the 436 patch it wasn't working at first then i moved the maps file from the window install to the linux directory and it worked but the sound goes too fast faster than the video do you have any idea how to fix it?

try following the directions there for a native install
also, make sure you have correct permissions on /dev/dsp

i use chmod 777 /dev/dsp

i did the all the you said but it didn't work the sound still goes faster i even ran the game as root just to make sure i had all of the rights but nothing still goes way too fast

when in UT, try going to the options/preferences menu and try changing some settings for sound

apart from this, i don't know...
