Tintin, what and maybe how

Trying to download and install tintin, but having problems. I am very new and had much difficulty trying to compile it once. Then again, I couldn't get a pre-compiled binary to work either. It may simply be practice and experience I need, but any tips would be appreciated.

I wouldn't run tintin if I was new to linux, its kinda old and pretty hard to use imho. A better solution might be GnomeMud. It has a nice GUI, supports multiple sessoins, and pretty much everything else thats important in muds. Here's the link. http://amcl.sourceforge.net/
