Playing simple games like Python or HTML5 based in Linux platform
Hello All,
I working on raspberry pi and doing some fun stuff. Can any one tell me How play small games based on Python or HTML 5 in Linux platform I mean What are the supporting Package is required to get Python Game up and Running. I don't want Game engine.
1. We COULD just check what python packages are installed on whatever OS you are using for your PI, or
2. We could just install python and some of the normal stuff and try it. This might be the fastest answer.
You do not mention what PI os you are running, but for the most part the python is pretty standard and not terribly large (for a PI, large is not a natural choice), so it should be pretty easy.
I suspect some of the python games and applications for PI were written first on a more general distro and moved over. That would be how I would do it.
When it comes to Python, there might also be specific dependencies for a particular game so it would be even better if you specify which game you have in mind. Html5 support might vary from browser to browser. If the distribution you are using supports Google Chrome or a recent version of Firefox you should be fine.
