Sounds like it might be interesting. The place to start to get players is first make sure it's hosted on a server that can handle the traffic and as bug free as possible. Run beta ages with just a select group of players first to make sure that not only are the programming bugs out but logic errors that would give players unfair advantage and such are taken care of. By using a dozen or so players for a full age to beta it you'll work out the worst of the bugs. What will drive people away quickly is a buggy interface or a game that's too easy or too hard.
Next there are several good websites for advertising MMORPGs but realistically if you can capture the interest of a hard core MMORPGer then you've really won the battle. There are a few hundred players out there who can bring you hundreds of players in a short time if that game really catches their eye and becomes their latest addiction. They'll bring in their dozen or so friends who bring in their friends who bring in other charismatic leader types which often draws their enemies who come just to destroy them LOL. MMORPGs really do have an extensive and long term social network and if you can become the darling of that network your game will be a hit.
