Naturally you should replace that part with warsow.bin or however it's called. I do not have it installed right now, that's why I didn't write it out.
When in doubt just start it from the directory... those steps are just to make it globally executable. If there is an sh file in /usr/bin you don't have to type the complete path to the executable to start it.
So if you still have it on your desktop - could you cd into the directory like:
cd Desktop/Warsow
and execute it from there with:
./warsow
or
./warsow.bin
and post the output if it doesn't start.
