Im a total n00b. I just installed my first install of linux and i finaly got everything working right. Now its time for some games! I got ut2003 and nascar racing season 2002. I know im going to have to use wine or winex to run this game. Problem is that i dont know how to run the game with that program. Im wondering if someone could give me a run down on this please

What extension does this "linux installer" have? Exe's dont run in linux right? ANother thing is that i bought ut2003 the first day that it came out. So maybe they had not added the installer yet. But seems like there should be a separate install for download then.
I just did some research and it seems that there is suppost to be a linux_installer.sh file on cd3...

type sh linux_installer.sh (that applies to all sh and run files.).
also, if you need to execute a file, type ./name_of_file_here or exec name_of_file_here

they have that exact problem there.
Yea but i cant figure out this mount and un mount cdrom stuff.
I disabled supermount and then i start the install process. It will ask to mount the play cd and thats when i unmount and then mount the drive and then click on try again. After i do that the cd will still be spun up but the installer will just sit there. Then i cant do anything with the cdrom drive til i reboot case the drive is locked up and wont do anything
I got a game that starts in a couple of hours and i was hopeing to be able to play it on linux.
