how to load a game on freeciv

I played freeciv today and found out that to save a file I have to type save on the freeciv server.

when I did this it saved my game as civgame-400m.sav.gz

when I wanted to play the game again I typed: load <civgame-400.sav.gz>

I then pressed enter and I got an error message. Am I doing something wrong?

can someone tell me how to load a game on freeciv?

By any chance are there any good strategy games on Linux either realtime or turnbased?

I appreciate the linux community and how helpful they are! I just love linux!

I found out that it was all a syntax problem, to correct this I did the following:
(All commands are typed on the freeciv server window)

1) I typed in: load civgame-2500m.sav.gz (for the file name type whatever file name you have)
2) I received a confirmation stating that the game had been successfully loaded
3) I typed: start
4) I was then able to play without any problems
